About
us His first project as a teenager in Florida involved the crude editing of VCR to VCR with a 30-foot coaxial cable connecting the machines as he sought to string together the highlights of the New York Islanders' 1985 season, which he expected would result in a Stanley Cup championship. That never happened. In the late 1980s, he owned his first video camcorder and began taping street hockey games played in Miami in the now-defunct South Florida Street Hockey League. He taped his first wedding in 1989 on a beach in Palm Beach County at sunrise. In the late 1990s, he took his hobby more seriously and was among the few to become educated in non-linear video editing, or what is known today as digital video editing. Joey now calls Salinas, California his home. In recent years, he has steadily developed his business acumen and upgraded his equipment. All work now is performed on professional video-editing computers, and the cameras also are fully digital. Final products are output to DVD. Joey has many supporters to thank for assistance in recent years, from advice to labor to critiques to actual work opportunities. Getting just this far never would have happened without help from these special people and he is extremely grateful. While
