South Florida Street Hockey League Highlights A A now-defunct ball-hockey league that played its games in North Miami, Fla., the SFSHL ran from 1987 until about 1998. The league usually had two seasons per year in the always-blazing heat with anywhere from five to eight teams each playing two games per day on middle-school tennis courts divided by a 15-foot wall. It was run by players who usually held the title of "league president" - a position that later developed into a three-man office known as "The Triumvirate." l (Click on the file to watch it play.
